IT WILL HAPPEN IN A WAY YOU CAN’T KNOW, AND YOUR ONLY JOB IS TO LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTION OF THE NOW

When you feel like there is so much to do, and so much you need or want to be on top of, and it’s all just so overwhelming, God wants to remind you to draw closer to Him.

You cannot simultaneously be in overwhelm, panic, anxiety, or carrying the weight of all you’ve not yet done and feeling bad about it, while also being connected to God and soul. The two simply can’t co-exist, so when you feel it all building up, or you look down the barrel of your day or week and it’s just UGH, you can’t even bear to take that first step due to the weight of all the steps which you’ve no idea how to take after it, just STOP.

And remember –

God wants to support you.

And that the reality of how your empire will come to fruition is it will happen in way you can’t know, and there’s nothing you need to do but listen to the instruction of the now.

Psalm 121: 1-2 –

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth”.

Nowhere will you find, in either Biblical or secular wisdom, any sort of suggestion that when you need help you should turn your eyes down to your endless task list and try to somehow force your way through it; let the overwhelm and the pressure tell you that it is valid or real. It’s all just a feeling, and it’s one you can choose INTO or OUT of, now.

Anybody who understands that how life works best is when we acknowledge and leverage not only our physical gifts and abilities but our spiritual and supernatural as well, understands that the real work is often done in letting go, and in allowing ourselves to BE SUPPORTED FROM ABOVE.

For many, and I include my earlier self in this, gosh, she was addicted to this, one of the ultimate lessons is the lesson of LETTING GO OF NEEDING TO KNOW THE ENTIRE FREAKING PLAN IN ADVANCE.

“If only I had a plan … “

“If only I could see the next ‘xxxx’ steps … “

“If only I could make it out all nice and neat, point A-Z, and then just get it all done; power through and finally be on top of it all so that I could BREATHE, and be free!”

I have to admit there is still a part of me which buys into this, strongly. I find myself often feeling as though, if I could just have 1-2 clear days (maybe locked on a plane just circling the world; oh fine, I’ll go private and with my own personal hot AF butler if you insist!), I could get on top of ALL THE THINGS AND IT’D FEEL SO.DAMN.GOOD.

Finally I’d be clear of all this STUFF I know I have to do, should be doing, WOULD be doing, if I were being a good human, an organised entrepreneur, a proper Mum, homemaker, woman!

But –

Who told me I should be doing all these things?

Who planted in me the idea that I am LACKING in my ability to be fully me, or to live my life fully, if I’ve not yet ticked off a whole bunch of random stuff that I decided is the missing link to me being able to be present in my life?

Not God!
Not soul!
Not higher self!

“The thief (Devil) comes to kill, steal, and destroy” (John 10:10)

continued – “I (Jesus) came that they may have life, and have it abundantly”.

The killing, the stealing, the destroying, this occurs first and foremost in the attacks we receive that cause us to doubt, to question our first and our God instinct, to become mired in anxiety, or sadness, or hopelessness, or to BELIEVE IN ANY SORT OF LIE THAT IN ORDER TO BE ENOUGH, WE MUST FIRST DO ‘X’.

With ‘X’, for most of us, and particular for the driven and creative genius ones amongst us, like you and I, being EVERY POSSIBLE THING THAT WE EVER THINK OF, FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN.

Oh, so admirable that you don’t allow yourself to be swayed off path by not feeling like it, or by ideas of sabotage, procrastination, resistance, and so on! But don’t you see?

The perpetual need to have to work work WERK in order to get somewhere … so that you can finally be here, and ‘on top of things’ … is the most insidious addiction perhaps of all.

GOD did not tell you that in order to be here, and fully present and also COMPLETE, you must first complete these 29,000 items in your business or life.

“I came so that they may have life, and have it abundantly (to the full)”.

Period.

The End.

YOU GET TO HAVE LIFE, AND HAVE IT TO THE FULL, NOW.

That’s the entire story!

There is nothing you have to first DO, in order to be present with God fully, in order to be present with your own self fully, or in order to live your LIFE fully.

No, no, no, no, no, I feel where your mind is going girl! “Okay, cool Kat, got it, and I BELIEVE it, my heart believes! Let me just real quick finish off this one thing, these ten things, get the house organised, get my business organised, finally do A and B and C and D over there, and oh look, fuck me, it goes all the way to Z”.

No girl no.

NOW you get to live your life fully.

Wipe the ENTIRE fucking list clear.

And I wonder –

Are you willing to live like that, trust like that, be led like that?

So many of you are living in frustration and resentment that you are doing all this WORK, and have taken it upon yourself to have to do so much MORE still, in order to make life work for yourself and for others, but you were NEVER TOLD TO DO THIS.

“As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

^^^ let’s unpack what this actually means, and how your soul knows it is real and TRUE that any ‘work’ to be done can only be found by being present to the now.

Indeed it’s very very simple:

Put first things first in every moment, and let the rest fall into place as a natural outcome of that.

Not sure what first things are, what is the #1 and #2 and #3 and ohhhhh, there you go again 😉 …?

Here is how you do it:

You connect to THIS MOMENT RIGHT HERE AND GOD IN IT AND GOD IN YOU.

And you ask, simply, what would you have me do?

Or, for what is this moment right here?

If you truly desire life to flow as it is meant to, you do this not even specific to a certain area, assigning this moment or that to business or parenting or fitness or life, but rather you ask it as a complete statement –

For what is this moment right here?

And then you trust on and act on THAT, and only that.

In fact you’ll find you don’t even really need to ask with time, it will just be felt, it will come to you, it will be obvious to you what that next step is RIGHT AS YOU COME UPON IT, and really, why would you need to know it any sooner?!

But but but but but – !

I get it. “But if I did life like that I might never get anything done, I’d be all over the place, a mess, and besides, I’d forget so much stuff I’m meant to be on top of!”

Well, in the end, it’s very black and white, isn’t it?

You can continue to play life with THAT paradigm, endlessly being not enough and having not done enough –

Or you can decide that from this moment you are led by God. Let by soul. Led by TRUST planted IN what you trust in.

The question is –

What DO you trust in, and how and where is that leading you or working out for you?
